There is 1 Eco Pods, 2 Shepherd Huts and 1 Big Red Bus on the Glamping site in Athlone. Each Glamping unit can accommodate 2 to 6 in each depending on the unit. The whole Glamping site can accommodate 30 in total. There is a private Kitchen and BBQ area also which your hen party you can use throughout your stay.

We here at TheHen.ie own and run 11 different hen party activities all over Ireland, all of which can be done in Bray. We can travel to your location or we can help you with finding a venue to host the activity in Bray town centre.

Our hen party activities start from €25pp with a minimum of 15 payments.

Our Glamping hen party Package in Athlone can be tailored to suit your hen weekend. This fantastic Glamping site is located in the countryside outside Athlone overlooking the River Shannon. Below we have outlined a sample Itinerary for you to get an idea of what our Glamping Hen Party Package in Athlone entails.

If you would like to go ahead with the booking, we require the following details:

  • The name of the hen

  • Your phone number

  • 1 other person’s phone number who will be attending the hen party

  • Your approximate number of people.

The Deposit for an all-inclusive package is 2 persons full payment within 7 days of making the booking*.

The Deposit for a standalone activity is €100 within 7 days of making the booking*. 

The final numbers and balance is due 21 days prior to the event.

The final balance is to be paid in one group payment – individual payments will not be accepted.

*All deposits are non-refundable

  • Debit Card – Call us and we can take payment over the phone for you.
  • Lodge the money into the AIB bank account – details will be outlined on the invoice.
  • Cheque/postal order/bank draft details of who it is payable to and the address to send it to will be outlined on the invoice.

What is Glamping all about? Glamping is “Glamorous Camping” You are essentially Camping but instead of a small tent that you have to spend hours putting up your self you get to “camp” in Eco Pods, a Big red bus and Shepard Huts. 

When is Glamping available? Glamping in Glasson Glamping Farm Athlone is available all year round. The units are warm and cosy and can be used with ease in the winter months.

The entire Glamping site can only hold up to 17 people in total. Each unit can hold 4/5 people in each. With a private room that can sleep 4 off the kitchen/living area onsite

Glamping is sold as a package on a 2 Nights min stay price only. The package price is €165pps as per above.

Their are beds, lights, bedlinen, pillows, you must bring your own towels and facecloths.

Yes there are Plug Sockets in the Glamping units to use for hair dryers etc. 

There is a kitchen and a bbq area onsite. As part of your Athlone Glamping package the BBQ and Meal is provided by outside caterers. 

No.

The toilets & showers building is located beside the glamping units. It is all very well lit. Please ensure everyone attending the hen weekend brings their own shower gels, shampoos, sponges etc with you as you are camping after all. 

The Eco Pods, big red bus and shepherd huts are lovely and cosy they retain the heat, however do bring fluffy pjs incase it is cooler to what you are used to at home. 

There is a fridge in the kitchen area onsite which you are free to use.

Yes the glamping site is all yours so you dont have to worry about your hen party interfering with the other users of the campsite.

The Glamping is located 7.4km mile from Glasson village where there is a convenience shop available.

Yes there is a living space onsite for activities. If you need to do activities in Athlone town. We can arrange return transport to Athlone for your activities at an additional cost.

There is ample parking onsite. The Cars cannot be parked right beside the units but in the adjacent car park. 

Yes your the party will be in the Glamping site on your own.

No, you cannot light a campfire onsite for health and safety reason but there are outdoor heaters campfire style.
